Raise the Roof  Building Project

For over 16 years Crosswalk Community Outreach, a Naples 501c3 nonprofit, has served the Naples and surrounding communities with many vital services.  In 2024, the Naples town gym and the commercial kitchen that housed our services to the local community was renovated into offices and employee space.  With that change, we were no longer able to offer free meal services, blood pressure screening, Medicare support, flu clinics, our free community meals site and emergency warming space and meals site. We are now in a community space which is about ¼ of what we used to have. 

 Crosswalk Community Outreach with the support of its board of directors, financial supporters, and local residents are determined to find a permanent home where we can all once enjoy a place of community: a place to learn, meet, and grow. With the new site our outreach can then resume the services that have been lost including:

Emergency Meals during Outages and Pandemics

 

Warming/Cooling Center

 

The Return of Free Community Meals

 

Addiction Recovery Outreach in collaboration with LRRC

 

Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts space

 

Community Garden/Farm to Table

 

Healthy Food Access for Naples Residents/Food Pantry

 

Free Notary Public Services

 

Community Health Worker Onsite for Resource Referrals

 

Blood Pressure Screening/ Flu Clinics with Community Nurses

 

Southern Maine Area Agency on Aging Community Cafe and Classes for Seniors

 

Medicare Support Advisor on Site

 

Room for residents for family and fundraising events

 

Veteran’s Homelessness Advocates working with Preble Street Initiative

 We will be having a number of fundraising events this summer which include: Live Auction, Silent Auction, Craft Fair and various fun activities throughout the spring, summer and early fall of 2025.
